Telč underground
Visit the recently reconstructed Telč underground located under the historical town centre. Explore the historical cellars and tunnels and learn interesting facts about the history of the town. All of this through an interactive fun and educational exhibit using a state of the art projection technology.
In the basement can be seen and heard:
Mist Screens (virtual partitions) projection: the testimony of contemporaries, 3D animation Telč underground and houses over it.
Semicircular projection with demonstration observational documentary of Telč and the surrounding area director Daniel Svátek.
Acoustic hall with examples: music, compositions written for Telč, read "Telč rumors", poems, excerpts from literature ect.
Interactive floor with effects depicting the evolution and transformation of the city and surroundings in different time periods.
Multitouch interactive table, functioning as an active database and a kind of connection of all other devices of exposure (in the table is a database of all other contents of the underground). Content includes everything from historic maps and documents to videos, contemporary photography and interactive map of the entire region.
Opening hours:
It is necessary to make a reservation at the Tourist Information Centre at least one day in advance. The tour is for minimum of 8 people and maximum of 15 people.
Monday - closing day
January, February, March, November, December:
Tours on Mondays to Fridays by appointment at the Information Centre min. 8 people for the tour. Make a reservation at least one day in advance!
April, May, October:
Make a reservation at least one day in advance! Minimum 8 people for the tour max. 15 people in a group.
June, July, August, September:
10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00
It is necessary to make a reservation at the Tourist Information Centre at least one day in advance. The tour is for minimum of 8 people and maximum of 15 people.
Admission:
Adults 100 Kč, children, students 50 Kč, family entrance 220 Kč (2 adults + 3 children under 15 years).
