Tower of the Holy Spirit
The late Romanesque tower is the oldest preserved monument in Telč. In terms of style it can be classified as built in the first half of the 13th century. It originally served as a 49 m tall guard tower.
Reconstruction of Tower of the Holy Spirit carried out from August to November 2017 was forced mainly by the poor condition of the tower's truss. It included a complete renovation of the existing historical truss with the necessary replacement of damaged parts complete replacement of roofing and also the opening of the last floor of the tower.
There are installed touchboards with the timeline of the city's history, information about the history and present of the city including photographs, paintings connected to information about surrounding villages and monuments. Part of the exhibition is a hologram of a historical figure that will bring visitors to the tower. On the last floor of the tower are equipped with observation telescopes, interactive maps and at the top of the tower as well as a historical clock machine.
Opening hours: The tower is currently closed (COVID-19)
In case of bad weather is the tower closed.

It is necessary to make a reservation at the Tourist Information Center at least one day in advance. The tour is for a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 15 people.
